The paleo diet is based on research about human evolution and what humans evolved to eat. It includes nuts, meats, fruits and vegetables and seafood. It is a great way to nourish your body as nature intended, and following the paleo diet means you naturally cut out highly processed and bad for your foods. Sticking to any diet requires some level of commitment, having access to healthy ready to-go snacks that meet your diet requirements is a great way to make sure you don’t fall off the wagon. Here are the best paleo snacks stores have to offer! (All of these can be purchased on amazon for your convenience).
Hu Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate offers a myriad of health benefits. Some research suggests that dark chocolate may help lower the risk of heart disease, reduce inflammation and insulin resistance, and improve brain function. Dark chocolate is not a snack to skip, Hu offers a bar that is paleo and vegan. Pro tip: chocolate is an aphrodisiac.
Lesser Evil Cheese Less “Cheetos”

These are one of my personal favorite snacks. I have a hard time resisting eating the entire bag. Usually vegan “cheese” tastes funky, but Lesser Evil nailed this recipe! It is delicious, nutritious and tastes like that real thing. Not to mention, the price point is fabulous. Pro tip: kids love them too!
Paleovalley: 100% Grass Fed Beef Sticks

The only problem with these is that you will want to eat more than one. Paleovalley makes 100 percent grass fed beef sticks. They are available in five flavors and are packed with protein and healthy fat. This is my favorite paleo snack to pack for camping trips or long hikes when I need a protein punch! My favorite flavor is jalapeno, but you have to try them all.
That’s it. Mini Fruit Bars

As you probably guessed, these bars contain only fruit. And “that’s it”! These bars are great for satisfying your sweet tooth, and when you don’t feel like fresh fruit. These bars taste like skittles, but are healthy. I love to pack these as snacks for myself and in kid lunch boxes. At 60 calories a bar, you can indulge with any calorie budget.
Wildway Keto, Vegan Granola

Granola is one of my favorite treats and is an excellent source of fiber and energy. When I initially went paleo, it was something that I missed. Wildway makes a paleo and gluten free granola and it is great! It tastes like the real thing, because it is! It is granola remade, and it is better than ever. Throw a bag in your backpack and head to the beach, this granola is tasty and provides plenty of nutrition to keep you going.
Barnana Organic Plantain Chips

These are great with salsa! That is what I am going to lead with. These are slightly sweet, but not overpowering, they pair beautifully with fresh salsa. They also are a score because they are one of the most affordable packages of paleo snacks on the market. I love eating these with paleo dips, or by themselves, they are great for packing into lunches and also when you just have the munchies. They are a bit thicker than normal potato chips but in a delicious way.
CHOMPS Grass Fed Beef Jerky Meat Snack Sticks

I cannot compile a list of paleo snacks without including several beef jerky options. This one may be my favorite because of affordability. It is cheaper than the brand listed above but just as tasty. I struggle to write about these without ordering more. These sticks contain zero sugar and are packed with flavor and protein. They are widely available at grocery stores and of course available on amazon. They are a top pick paleo snack.
Birch Benders Paleo Pancake & Waffle Mix

I will not lie, these pancakes are not as delicious as IHOP, but they are a close contender and are much healthier. I love these because they are very easy to make, and packed with fiber and nutrients. I love adding macadamia nut butter and maple syrup for a comfort food type breakfast.
Siete Grain Free Kettle Cooked Potato Chips

I’m in love with these. They taste like actual chips, only healthier. They are affordable and full of flavor. Perhaps they are not as nutritious as sardines and kale, but they are a great way to indulge and enjoy your life while still being paleo.
Paleo Snacks – Cassava Chip

These are hands down the best chips for dipping. They are perfectly crispy and salted and go great with any dip! Having a very dippable chip in your pantry is a great way to not cave and crunch on a non paleo alternative.
Siete Grain Free Cinnamon Churro Strips

These hit the crunchy and sweet spot! They are made with only avocado oil and coconut sugar. They are the perfect paleo indulgence to keep in your pantry (for a day before you eat them).
Lesserevil, Cookies Grain Free Mini Almond Butter Chocolate Chip

I love and trust this brand. Anything from this brand is tasty and paleo friendly. Having paleo alternatives to classic favorites is a great way to avoid falling off the paleo bandwagon. These little cookies are delicious and healthy. They are best enjoyed after a nice long hike!
Ava Organics – Coconut Crispy Rollers

These are too delicious not to include in this list. They are perfectly crispy and amazing if you love coconut. They are sweet but not overly powerful. I think they would taste perfect in homemade paleo ice cream.
Conclusion
Giving up familiar comfort foods is an obstacle to becoming and staying paleo. Having paleo versions of classics is a great tool to have in your pantry.
